QSLA is also part of Quality Counts California, which helps to connect parents and families to high-quality early learning and care programs, and ensures that infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children have quality early learning experiences in their local communities. QSLA aims to improve the program quality of participating centers and family childcare homes by offering instructional supports and incentives for programs, teachers and administrators to reach higher levels of quality. QSLA is part of a larger state and national movement to acknowledge and support early learning providers as they continuously elevate the quality of care for children birth to five and their families. Quality Start Los Angeles (QSLA) is a quality rating and improvement system (QRIS) for early learning providers in Los Angeles County. Our partnership with 211 LA County makes it easier for children and families who are eligible for LACOE services to connect to the right programs, resources, and early childhood education providers.
